Below is some important tournament information. If you have not joined our FB Page, we highly recommend you do so as real time event and weather related updates will be posted there. 

Special Events Requiring RSVP

Saturday Night Dinner

We have a fun dinner planned Saturday night at Margaritaville. As a reminder, the dinner is included in everyone's registration but RSVP is required letting us know you are or are not attending (registered adults only). Only one spouse needs to RSVP. This allows us to only order for those attending, reducing waste and maximizing our scholarship amount- we hope to see ALL of you there. Let us know if you will be attending as well as any dietary restrictions by Thursday, November 13th.  Your welcome email will have contained a link to fill out the RSVP form.

• Location: Lakeview Room in the Conference Center at Margaritaville (600 Margaritaville Pkwy Montgomery, TX 77356)

• Attire: Casual

General Tournament Details

• Ratings/Division verification: All ratings/divisions have been verified. If you have not heard from us you are all good! Brackets will be published on the USTA website by the evening of Wednesday, November 18, 2026. (ie same place you registered) 

• Match Play (subject to change) 

  • Match play will start at 8:30 am. Please plan to be at WRC at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time and check in at the tournament desk. 

  • Warm-ups are limited to 5 minutes - there are no reserved warm-up courts. 

  • Scoring is no ad and deuce point if plays husband to husband, wife to wife

  • Best out of 3 sets with the 3rd set being a 10 point tiebreaker (Komen method). 

  • Guaranteed at least 2 matches 

  • Some division may be round robin depending on number of teams in that division

Awards 

• For bracket divisions: there will be awards for 1st & 2nd place, as well as the consolation winner when applicable

• For round robin divisions: there will be an award for 1st place. 

Food & Beverage On-Site

• The tournament will supply, for as long as supplies last:

• Beer, wine, water and electrolyte packets

• Light snacks

• WRC will provide burgers and/or hot dogs Saturday from 11am-1pm

• There is a water fountain/ water filler on-site as well

• Please bring your own breakfast, lunch, etc to supplement as deemed necessary

Facilities

• We will have access to WRC mens and womens locker rooms with showers. These have come in handy for those with late matches heading directly to the Saturday Night Dinner. 

• Chairs and tables are available, but please feel free to bring your own. 

We know life happens, if something has changed and you are no longer able to play this year please reach out and let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust the draw. As a reminder the withdrawal deadline has passed, so no refunds are able to be issued at this point. 

Terms & Conditions

• Limit: Couples may play only 1 division; Max of 68 teams total

• Fee: $125/player, $250/team (no refunds after November 1, 2025); 

• Mailing Address:  HTA LeMaster Tournament, 3535 Briarpark Drive, Suite 215, Houston TX 77042, and must include completed paper entry form.  

• You do not need to be a USTA member to play in the tournament, but you must be a USTA member to register online. 

• Divisions: 10 divisions offered for husband-and-wife teams--players must be legally married.  Divisions may be combined if too small or separated if too large.

• Ratings: Player ratings will be verified by ratings committee and committee has the right to adjust draw.

• Teams who have won prizes in their most recent previous LeMaster tournament will be bumped up into the next higher draw.

• Format: Guaranteed 2 matches. In the event of rain, matches will be condensed.   

• Entry fee includes tennis matches and dinner for 2 on Saturday night.  Dinner is ADULTS ONLY. In the event of a total rainout, dinner will still be held on Saturday night, November 22 at Margaritaville Resort, starting at 6pm with cash bar.

• Play will begin at 9am on Saturday and Sunday. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match. 

• Both the tournament and dinner are for registered adults only.
